You have the opportunity to change the trajectory of our neighbors facing hunger. By giving to the Food pantry, you can help end hunger and develop sustainable solutions for the future.
Sarah’s Daughters House for young women( ages12 -18) is a faith based residential home ministry that helps displaced young women learn home economics skills. Women learn personal & family finance, housekeeping, food nutrition & preparation, sewing, wellness, textiles and other essential life skills that will prepare them to survive on their own.
Residential program are children under the age of 14 years old and cared for at the main campus. The Semi-Independent Living program is for the teenagers age 15+. These students have more independence and learn life skills to prepare them for their future after leaving GHA. The teenage boys live in a house rented in the local community and the teenage girls live at the main campus. For the Family Reunification program, we have reunified 27 children with their birth parents, in kinship care or they are living on their own in the community. All children receive a high quality education, medical care, nutritious meals and are involved in spiritual care and discipleship programs. The Greta Academy has classes for Kindergarten through Secondary 4 (they have 13 classes). We had our first graduating class this past year with 6 students. This year in June we will have 16 graduates. We currently have 6 students in University in Port au Prince studying Engineering, Business Administration, Agricultural Engineering and Economics.
